Rodney Darrin Williams was born in Washington, D.C. to the late Evelyn Beatty and Theodore Williams, Jr. on July 29, 1963. God called his angel home on Tuesday, May 14, 2013.
Rodney attended Calvin Coolidge High School where he played football and participated in band. After completing high school, he began his career as a chef working in various establishments such as Joe's Crab Shack, Bish Thompson's Seafood Restaurant, with his last employment at KC Diner in Bethesda, Md.
He was the beloved father of Theodore, Latasha, Octavia, Tiffany, Daryl, Michelle, Veronica, Nyasha, Teresa, Rodney III, and the late Rodney Jr. He is survived by his wife Valerie Buckner; four brothers, Frank, Ricardo, Kelvin, Arnold; and two sisters, Kecia and late Sadie; 15 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
