Rhonda Angelete Tabron affectionately known as "Dimples" to family and friends was born February 15 1972, in Washington, DC to Ronald V. Edmonds Sr. and Gloria L. Wiley-Austin. She departed this life peacefully on Thursday May 5, 2016. Rhonda received her education in the District of Columbia Public Schools. On February 28, 1991, she was married David Lamont Tabron Sr. , who was a loving and devoted husband up to the end. Of their union three children were born; Daron Lamont, David Lamont Jr., and Daniel Lamont. At an early age, Rhonda accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She faithfully served the Lord for many years and later co-founded Open Heart Way of the Cross Church as a missionary, she wore many hats and functioned as Church Administrator, Usher Board President, Financial Secretary and a myriad of other support roles. Her pursuit of excellence within the ministry helped keep the church together during some of the most difficult times. She played a vital role in securing the church first building purchase and her family name is lovingly placed outside the front brick wall of the new sanctuary. She was that one person all could go to get straight talk, stern answers and a loving smile. Open Heart will not be the same without her. She worked for numerous companies before beginning her career with Venn Strategies as Senior Vice President-Operations. She was much more than a colleague; she was a cherished partner and friend. Rhonda was a caring, loving and devoted wife, mother and friend. She will always be remembered for her zest for life, her big beautiful smile and her love of family. She was committed and dedicated to her family and known as the "glue" that kept them together; planning family gatherings to include annual picnics, bowling, kickball games, and family reunions. she was a mother figure to many who affectionately called her "Ma".
