It is with profound sorrow that we inform you of the passing away of Mrs. Marykutty George, at her home on November 28, 2022 in Bowie, Maryland. She was the wife of the late C.Y. George and passed at the age of 83. Mary remained active in church and spending time with her family until the day of her passing.

She worked as a nurse in India and continued her career in the United States, when she immigrated in 1975, until her retirement in 2004.

She was the eldest sister of C.S. Rosamma, C.S. Johnson, C.S. Thomas, and late C.S. Stephen. She has three children: William and his wife Beena, Wilson, Mercy and her husband Luke. She also has five grandchildren: Michael, Stacy, Aaron, Kezia, and Benjamin.

Viewing is on December 16, Friday, 6:30 pm-9 pm at New Testament Church, 400 Butternut St NW, Washington, DC 20012.

Funeral services will be held on December 17, Saturday, 10 am – 1 pm at New Testament Church. Burial will be at 2 pm at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906.
