JOHNATHAN was born in SilverSpring, MD to Ronald & Jan Jones on March 7, 1989. He departed life on the way to the hospital on October 11, 2019 at 3:59 p.m. Johnathan was the brother to 2 sisters (Bernise Rainey and Roneika Jones) and the brother to 3 brothers (the late Ronald Jones, Cornelius Rainey and James Jones (Tuff)). He was the father of 2 beautiful babies, Johnathan Lee Jones, Jr. and Bella Nicole Jones. He was raised by 2 loving parents Jan & Cornelius Tuff. Johnathan grew up in Maryland, and was educated through Prince George's County Public Schools. He began his educational journey in Washington, DC as he attended West Elementary School, transfered to Ardmore Elementary School, Springdale, MD. Thomas Johnson Middle School, Lanham, MD, Flowers High School, Springdale, MD. and attended Strayer University, Hyattsville, MD. In school, Johnathan was known for his unrelenting talent on the football field, his over the top dance moves when "beating his feet", and his sick drum playing skills. In his early phase of life, Johnathan was an active youth choir member at Mt. Zion Baptist Church for he was a member of the Showers of Blessings and the Youth & Young Adult Choir as the Drummer. Johnathan was baptized and often professed God to be his lord and Savior. Under the leadership of Reverend Lue Ella Rodgers who is Johnathan's Grandmother, johnathan was confident in the power of prayer. Johnathan, often referred to as Black, loved to cook and his Instagram page will show some of his most popular dishes. He also loved cars and auto detailing as he was a member of The Most Hated Auto Club aka "MHAC" of Washington,DC. Johnathan following his entrepreneurial skills not only worked on cars as a hobby, but also started his own landscaping business better known as J&J Handyman Home Care Co. He also loved to cut hair and was currently taking classes and studying to obtain his barbering license to create another source of income. Johnathan also worked on mutiple construction sites with Neil General Contractor. One fun fact you did not know about Johnathan is that he was incredible at drawing, In fact he loved it. He had the potential to become a graphic designer. Johnathan had the potential to master so many areas of life which he loved and his main driving factor was to become heavily financially set in order to be able to provide an extraordinary life experience for his children as he raised them. Johnathan leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents Jan & Cornelius Tuff; loving grandmother, Reverend Lue Ella Rodgers; children, Johnathan Lee Jones Jr. and Bella Nicole Jones; siblings, James (Jasmine) Tuff, Cornelius Rainey, Bernice Rainey, Roneika Jones; father, Ronald Jones; former wife, Clarrisa Williams and loving Step Son Dicon Williams; mother and father in law, Mr.& Mrs. Williams; nieces and nephews, Jai'Nise Seaward, Nicole Jones and Esaias Tuff; aunites and uncles, Jamie (Keith) Colson, Marilan (Keith) Hinds, and Clifford Rodgers; cousins, Chaunta (John) Proctor, Catrina Robertson, Amanual (Britney) Wright, Keiona Ellis, Dennis Colson, Jr. Andrea Wright and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbors, those who adopted him as their own son, brother, cousin, father, uncle and many co-workers, friends and teammates.
