Helen Mayo was 95 years old, died at home August 18,2021. She was born July 4, 1926 in Easley, South Carolina. For 33 years she worked as a Nursing Assistant for the District Government. A longtime resident of D.C. She was a member of the Central Congregation of Jehovah's Witness.

She moved to Bowie, Md. in 2002 and became an active member of the South Bowie Jehovah's Witness Congregation. She enjoyed music, crocheting and cross word puzzles.

Helen's hisband , Benjamin died in 2009. She is survived by her son, Sardie Mayo, his wife Brenda and their two sons Damian and Armond. As well as her daughter Saundra Mayo. Services and burial will be held at Fort lincoln Cemetery.
