Geno Antone freeman, 60, passed Friday , February 19,2021 In Washington, DC. He was born May 28,1960 in Wilmington, NC. The eldest of five children born to the late Norman Wade and (living) Verdell Wilson. Leaving behind countless friends and loving family.

Geno attended John T. Hoggatd High School in Wilmington, NC. Graduated June 1978. His path of life took him out of North Carolina in 1988 where he married a friend of many years, Marie (Ann) Cowan.

Geno loved his family and friends dearly. He loved to laugh and encourage others. Geno was very kind and gentle. He loved music, bowling, fast cars, motorcycles, and playing those numbers!!! He was the absolute best father! His hearts' greatest accomplishment was to see his son. Antone happy and continue to grow to be successful in life.

Geno leaves loved ones to cherish his memories: His wife, Marie (Ann) Freeman of Maryland, one son, Antone Freeman (Barbara Newman), four siblings, Tobias Wade, Wendell Freeman, Bonita Gonyeau (Lana), and Troy Wade: nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends .
