Obituary

Dwan A. Edwards was born on December 18, 1975 to the late Dolly Weems and Wilford Reynolds in Laurel, MD. She was predeceased by her husband Dale Lee Edwards, grandfather Robert L. Parks, Sr., grandmother Delores Parks and great grandmother Edna Mae Bullock. On February 13, 2014, the Angels of God descended from Heaven to welcome her into everlasting life with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Dwan was the eldest of the four children. She was raised in Prince George's County public school system and went on to complete two years of college in her pursuit of a degree in Criminal Justice. She took pride in helping others as she was employed as an in-home health care provider.

Dwan had a passion for creating decorations for parties and gatherings and her small business ventures in creating candles, designing gift baskets and selling novelties. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. One of her favorite pastimes was playing the slots at which she was very lucky. She loved to travel and take vacations with family and friends. She was a single mother who instilled the importance of education and hard work in her children. Poochie as she was affectionately called by family, was kind and caring and loved unconditionally. She had a beautiful heart and a precious smile that she shared daily. She was a believer in Christ and a woman of wisdom. Poochie was fun loving and humorous. She loved playing board games, planning spur-of-the-moment get-togethers, and outings that included everyone's children. She was also referred to as Peaches by friends.

Dwan leaves to cherish her memory her father Wilford Reynolds, two special men who were father figures, Steve Jennings, Sr. and Vernon Weems; three children, Brittany Jones, Darryl Ramsey Jr., and Dale Lee Edwards II, a stepdaughter Tia Saunders; one sister Nicole Jennings; two brothers Steve jennings Jr. and Charles Jennings Sr. (Vania); three grandchildren; nine nieces and nephews; three godchildren; four aunts; four uncles; many cousins; special friend Jennifer Snead; sister in Christ Latesha Wagstaff; best friends Deanna Lindsay, Tameka Allen and Denice Carroll; and a host of others relatives and friends.
