Obituary

ARDIS MCCOY PRIDGEN JR., was born o March 7,1948 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Ardis McCoy Pridgen Sr. and Alice Pridgen. He quietly departed this life on July 4,2022. Preceding him in death was his brother Larry Pridgen, a daughter, Tammy Pridgen, and a best firend, Raymond Moultrie.

Ardis attended Dunbar High School where he received some of his trade skills that helper him greatly with their family business. Building and renovating homes and businesses, as well as installation of windows were their specialty.

Ardis was baptized and confirmed as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, along with his brother -in-law, the late Anthony Gray. He received his endowment in the Washington, D.C. Temple. My beloved husband was a Priest Holder of the Aaronic and Melchezdic Priesthood.

Ardis loved his family all of them, He leaves to cherish fond memories: His wife Joann Powell Pridgen; his stepson Natwan Coates and wife Latoya Coates; a granddaughter Natalie Coates.

He also Leaves to cherish fond memories; Sandy Pridgen, along with her daughter, Makalia and son, Mr. Dinkles; his father, Darron; Sam and and his daughter ; Trinity and son, Legend; The beloved Tammy Pridgen with Kenny and two boys and one girls; his youngest girl., Monique Pridgen and her son Ardon Owens' and father Aaron Owens. Ardis also leaves his brothers Monte, Kevin, " Teddy and Dwayne Pridgen. The star in the family. his big sisters Linda Williams and Dawn Pridgen; His other brothers and sisters through marriage, Natalie, Lorraine, Johnny and Daniel; nephews, Nelson, Eric, Derrick, Davon, Damien; nieces  Wanda, Natasha, Ronetta, Jamila, Chardae, Jameria, Kay Kay, Morgan, Shirley and a host of other relatives, church family and friends.
