On Monday, June 6, 2022, Andrew Marcellous Britt, also known to his family and friends as "Babe" and "Big Babe", peacefully transitioned to eternal rest.He was born on April 17, 1934 to the late Andrew and Lu Ida Britt in Highland Park, Maryland. He was preceded in death by brothers (Robert Allen; James Nelson: David, Curtis, and Earl Britt). Andrew accepted Christ at a very young age and was educated in the Maryland Public School systems. Andrew was employed by Harmony Memorial Park Cemetery and the Bowie Trucking Company. In his free time, he loved watching sports, fishing, hunting, playing the guitar, and taking occasional trips to the casino. In 1954, Andrew married the late Catherine Nichols Britt. To this union, three daughters were born; Constance May, Angela Frazier, and Patricia Britt. In 1991, Andrew married the late Doris Evans Carter Britt. Andrew is survived by his loving and devoted daughters, Constance May (James), Angela Frazier (Robert), and Patricia Britt;  a brother, Leon Britt, brother-in-law, John Nichols, his best friend and devoted grandson, Anthony Carter; grandsons, Antonio and Christopher May;granddaughter, Crystal Murphy; great-grandsons, Marcus and Kaedon Williams; step sons, Steven and Eric Carter; stepdaughters-in-law Melissa Carter and Elisabeth Youmbi Carter; step granddaughters, Chyla and Kimberly Carter; step great-grandson, Kevin Carter; sisters-in-law, Isabel Britt, Mary Britt, Evelyn Nichols, Joan Nichols, and Marcellene Britt; and a wealth of cherished nieces,nephews, cousins, and friends.
